History: For over
forty-five years, Little Britches Rodeo
has continued to be as tried and true a tradition as the sport of rodeo
itself.
It has grown from a single, annual rodeo back in 1952 to more that 150
rodeos
throughout the country.
In 1961, a national convention was held in centrally located Denver,
Colorado
with representatives from many states.
Headquarters for the association were established in Colorado.
Little Britches Rodeo is
the oldest national junior rodeo association in the country.
Kids from age 8 through 18 are eligible to participate.
There are four divisions for contestants,
Junior Girls, Junior Boys (age 8 through 13),
Senior Girls, Senior Boys, (age 13 through 18).
