Competing at the Barriere Rodeo earlier in the month, Quesnel’s Steve Hohmann rode Alley Oop to first place in the saddle bronc, picking up a score of 76 and a payout of $567.96.
Todd Hutnyk rode the same horse in the same competition scoring three points less at 73 taking home a $458.04 purse.
Quesnel Ladies Barrel Racing competitor Mary Sword came second in that event with a score of 16.897 collecting a payout of $642.55.
Quesnel riders had a clean sweep in the Pee Wee Barrel Racing when Brett Wills clocked 17.747, Sharla Hancock clocked 17.979 and Lane Wills 18.083. Prizes awarded were $148, $111, and $74 for the first, second and third winners.
