WELCOME RODEO FANS TO THE
Farm-City Pro Rodeo
The Farm-City Pro Rodeo enters its third year as a “Wrangler Summer Tour Event” . Each contestant earns valuable points for go-around wins and the Saturday “short-go”. Only those contestants earning the most points throughout the “Summer Tour” qualify for the Pace Picante Finale in Dallas, TX. Monies earned at these rodeos are crucial to making the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, NV in December.
The Farm-City Pro Rodeo brings a purse of $10,000 per event plus entry fees for Bareback Riding, Tie-Down Roping, Steer Wrestling, Saddle Bronc Riding, Barrel Racing, and Bull Riding. Because there are two contestants involved in the Team Roping event, FCPR adds $15,000 plus entry fees. The FCPR purse plus entry fees equal over $189,007 in total prize money. The FCPR in ranked 36th among the top 50 professional rodeos in North America based on total prize money. The total entries in each event determine how many places or “monies paid” in each event. All contestant events will pay money for go-around and average wins.
